One of my biggest soft spots in music is 2000’s electronic music. Well after the big beat backlash from rock traditionalists had torched electronic music’s viability stateside, I was still blasting stuff from the Knife, Gui Boratto, and, of course, Ellen Allien.

This is off her awesome 2003 album Berlinette, and this is the best of a great bunch. There’s a graceful fluidity underpinning the song’s robotic nature. Plus, the beat’s fucking killer. Definitely one to check out.
